The HomeCare Options team comprises of a range of health care professionals and support staff who undergo rigorous professional development to ensure the highest level of care. All staff are comprehensively insured, have current relevant professional registration and hold a Federal Police Clearance.

Coordination StaffConduct a comprehensive and holistic assessment to determine which services are suitable to assist clients to remain independent in the community. Coordination staff assess clients at least annually. A dedicated service coordinator is available to discuss individual needs and preferences on an ongoing basis and will arrange in home assessments whenever indicated. Personal Care AssistantsAssist clients with activities of daily living including showering, toileting and dressing. Most of our staff have formal industry recognised qualifications and are qualified to deliver more complex services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Occupational TherapistsMaximise functional use of bodily limitations for clients who have physical, developmental, social or emotional problems that prevent them from performing the general activities of daily living. They may instruct clients on using specialised rehabilitation techniques and equipment to improve function in basic household tasks such as eating, showering and dressing. PhysiotherapistsWork to restore the mobility and strength of clients who are limited or disabled by physical injuries through the use of excursive, massage and other techniques. They often alleviate pain and restore injured muscles with specialised equipment. They may teach clients and their carers special techniques to assist with mobility and transferring. |
Registered and Enrolled NursesProvide skilled services. Some of which include wound care, medication management, education on disease treatment and prevention and case management services. Domestic AssistantsPerform light household duties such as laundry, meal preparation, general housekeeping and shopping. Social WorkersEvaluate the social and emotional factors affecting people needing help and provide counselling if required. Social Workers also work with the Registered Nurses/Case Managers when a client's conditions are so complex, that professionals need to assess medical and supportive needs and coordinate a variety of services. Natural TherapistsA flexible range of therapies and treatments that can provide comfort and relaxation. For example, massage, aromatherapy and reflexology. Speech PathologistsWork to develop and restore the speech of individuals with communication needs, usually as a result of traumas such as surgery or stroke. Also retrain patients in breathing, swallowing and muscle control. |
